Rising from the Lowest of the Low

Allah swt says:

95:4

We have certainly created man in the best of stature; [Qur’an: 95:4]

In Arabic, the word قد is used before a verb in order to add emphasis to it. And in order to add MORE emphasis, we add ل, meaning to say لقد . Allah swt says لقد خلقنا الانسان في أحسن تقويم . For SURE, CERTAINLY, we have created man in the BEST of moulds….He emphasizes that He created us in the BEST of Fashion. Actually before this verse Allah swt even swears about the reality of this to emphasize on it more!

SubhanAllah, HOW many lessons to derive from this! Next time when you complain about not being beautiful/handsome when you look at the mirror, think about this Ayah, Allah swt tells you that you’re created perfectly. When you feel low, and repeatedly loath your self and encourage your low self esteem to go lower and lower, and feel undeserving of anything, and feel you’re good for nothing, or feel like you’re a sinner and Allah swt won’t answer your calls, or that you’re a complete failure always letting yourself and your loved ones down; Remember this.

But then…

Allah SWT continues,

95:5

Then We return him to the lowest of the low[Qur’an: 95:5]

This verse is disheartening. There seems to be a problem here. :(
And we cannot solve a problem if we do not know what the problem is. So what is the problem? We humans are disgraced to be the lowest of the low, dishonored, due to our own evil actions.

What’s the solution? The next ayah. Where Allah swt says:

95:6

EXCEPT  for those who believe and do righteous deeds, for they will have a reward uninterrupted. [Qur’an: 95:6]

Allah swt tells us that He created us humans in the best of ways, and then He says that due to the evil of our actions He lowered us to the lowest of the low.

Not only do we forget Allah, but we disgrace ourselves because of that. Forgetting Allah brings about the human’s disgrace, and remembering Him brings about honor and morality. And how is it that we forget Allah swt? We forget Him when we sin, forgetting He is watching. When we cheat, forgetting He knows. When we lie, forgetting He knows whats hidden within our chests.

And we distance ourselves from Him every time we do this. On the other hand, every time we make it a habit to remember Him, we cleanse our deeds and our hearts. We get closer and closer to Him to the point, one day our heart will remind us of His presence.

EXCEPT  for those who believe and do righteous deeds; only THEN for them they will have a reward uninterrupted. [Qur’an: 95:6]

Islam honors us. And it is only Islam that honors us. If we seek honor in anything else, we won’t find it. We certainly won’t.

And Allah swt, Al Azeez,  The Most  Honorable, honors whom He wills. When/If He honors you, accept it humbly, by being honest to Him. There’s NO WAY we will get through life with ease, without honestly and really HONESTLY finding Allah swt and being honest to Him even if we lie to ourselves. No matter what the situation is; even in the simplest of things. Believe; And do righteous deeds.

95:7

So what yet causes you to deny the Recompense? [Qur’an: 95:7]

What is preventing you from following the guidance?

Sharing An Interesting Story Relates to this post:

    STORY TIME :-)
One Sin led to his repentance ……..

When I was a young man, I would not hesitate to perpetrate any sin that was made available to me. Then, one day, I saw a young woman who was perhaps the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. Much tempted by her, I indicated to her that I wanted her to approach me. She seemed nervous, but I thought that she would probably agree to satisfy my sexual desires for money. She approached me with what seemed to be a great deal of trepidation, and when she actually stood before me, she looked extremely terrified.
Feeling sorry for her, I said, ‘Do not fear, for I will not harm you.’
But my words did not lessen her terrible fright in the least; in fact, her situation worsened. She began to tremble like a palm tree leaf trembles with the wind.
I said, ‘Tell me your story.’
She said, ‘By Allah, o my brother, never before this day have I offered my body in this way. Dire need is what has driven me to this, for I have three daughters who have not eaten a single morsel of food for three days now. It was pity for them that brought me to this low point in my life.’
For the first time in my life, I felt pity; her story moved me, and I no longer entertained the intention of taking advantage of her. After she told me where she lived, I took a great deal of money, clothing and food to her house. When I returned to my house, I told my mother what had happened.
My mother knew that I had a book in which I would record all of my evil deeds, and so she said to me, ‘My son, you are a man who has never performed a good deed except for the good deed that you performed today. I know that you have a book in which you record your evil exploits, go now and write in it your good deed.’
I stood up, went to my book, opened it, and found that all of its pages were blank- except for the first page on which was written a single line.
    إِنَّ الْحَسَنَاتِ يُذْهِبْنَ السَّيِّئَاتِ
Verily, the good deeds remove the evil deeds (i.e. small sins)
    [Hud : 114]
At that very moment, I raised my hands to the sky and said, ‘By your Might and Majesty, never again will I disobey You.’ ”

We absolutely love your blog and find most of your post’s to be exactly what I’m looking for. Would you offer guest writers to write content available for you? I wouldn’t mind writing a post or elaborating on some of the subjects you write related to here. Again, awesome website!

Excellent blog! Have you got any recommendations for aspiring
writers? I’m hoping to start my very own website soon but I’m a bit lost on everything.
Do you recommend starting with a totally free platform
like WordPress or take a paid option? There are plenty of choices available that I’m completely overwhelmed ..
    Any tips? Thanks!
